Dealers Fall Foul Of SFA CrackdownPosted: March 25, 2008
The Scottish FA have clamped down on the attempts by a gang of local crack dealers to become the new sponsors of Livingston FC.
The dealers, who have since turned their attentions to Greenock Morton, planned to emblazon the slogan ‘Have A Crack Attack’ on the players’ shirts and saw the move as an ideal way to break the difficult teenage market.
Spokesman Doddsy (above) said, ‘Livingston are a community club, and we desperately wanted our message to reach the community. But there are other ways’.
