High Jinks On The High Seas For Roman

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich recently invited AC Milan representatives on to his personal yacht – then hid in a kitchen cupboard, giggling like a schoolgirl.

A senior figure at Milan exclusively told us, “We were ready to enter into serious negotiations over a deal to move Kaka to London. However, all Mr. Abramovich was interested in was throwing bourbon biscuits at us when our backs were turned.”

The incident mirrors the one last summer before Chelsea signed Florent Malouda. Officials from Lyon were invited to the Russian billionaire’s mansion, only to be locked in a dining room which was then filled with bubbles. Despite this, the deal still went through, albeit with a highly-inflated transfer fee.
