Following on from Premier League attempts to turn time into biscuits, clubs in the Coca Cola Championship have launched their own rival bid.
“Those running the Premier League have know for some time that we have been planning to create a biscuit related calendar”, claims spokesperson Hannah Madeley. “This includes the realignment of international time zones along the Greenwich Tesco’s Rich Tea Finger Cream”.
“We believe our confidential report into staging the League season from the start of Abbey Crunch through to the end of Burton’s Maryland Double Chunk Chocolate has some how been leaked to someone in the Premiership. We will be taking this to our lawyers and can prove our ownership of the concept”.
When asked when the Championship hoped to hear their case in court, Miss Madeley said “Sometime in Huntley and Palmer’s Chocolate Olivers”.
