Hand job leads to public shaming

The Republic of Ireland may have been knocked out of World Cup 2010 by the Thierry Henry ‘Hand of God’ goal, but that does not mean they will be without representation at the event.

The FAI will be dispatching a delegation to attend every French match.

Their spokesman, Liam Mahone said, “We are sending 50 nuns to stand at one end and weep uncontrollably every time Thierry Henry touches the ball.  Behind the other goal we will station fifty elderly priests who will tut and shake their heads in pained sorrow every time he bears down on goal”.
